About Us

  • Owner & Proprietor

I’m married to my high school sweetheart and the mom to Palin, Jude and an international baby to be. The Lord changed my life on a mission trip to the Jamaica Deaf Village in 2019. I’ve been missioning like a crazy lady ever since. And now He’s making a way for a missions nonprofit...my name is listed as the proprietor but this is truly “Kingdom Run!”

Connecting with people and cultures across the world in the name of Jesus reminds me to pursue life on Earth as it is in Heaven— every nation, tribe, people and language standing before the throne of the Lamb! **goosebumps!!** A recent trip to India reminded me to have the same energy for local missions.

I love leading trips and seeing people connect with God in a life changing way. Everyone everywhere should be using their gifts to serve our Creator and build His Kingdom. I’m eager to continue to run this race!!

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance, the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:1-3

Hi I’m Crystal Macaluso. I have been around missions my whole life...my dad was CFO and then CEO of Gospel Missionary Union (now known as Avant Ministries). I was always around missionaries growing up and missions was instilled in me. My love language is acts of service and I certainly feel closest to the Lord in serving him. I went on my first mission trip to Haiti in 2010 following the earthquake with a group of med school classmates. It was just so overwhelming to see the devastation yet the people that lost everything still had smiles and joy within. Our evening worship services in the pediatric trauma tent were amazing.

I went on another mission trip to Mexico City back in 2018 with my oldest and his youth group. Then in 2021 my daughter and I joined the Motsinger’s to Jamaica. And then my whole family (minus the youngest) went again to Jamaica this past winter. Each trip has been exhausting, yet so fulfilling in every way to share God’s love with others.

I think it is so vital for believers to remain mission minded and do not see the kind of fervor for service and missions, local or worldwide anymore in our American churches. I am incredibly excited to partner with you all in Kingdom Run Missions! I pray that God will use each of us combined as a team to do His will with how he hopes to use us/this organization to bring more to His kingdom!

Oh and a little bit more about me. I’m an ER doctor at Mosaic. And I’m a mom of 5 kiddos: Nate, Emma, Chloe, Zac and Makynlee and wife to Nick who is also on the board of Kingdom Run Missions!

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man.”

I’m Stephen Greer. I grew up in a family that had a heart for missions and missionaries. When I was 8 years old our family lived in Moscow Russia for a while and worked in an orphanage there. I took a few detours in my walk with the Lord several times over a period of about 15 years and then in 2019 had to make a choice of seeking the Lord to fill a hole in my heart or the world. I went on my first mission trip as an adult to Haiti in 2019 and fell in love with missions and spreading the gospel. I’ve found a peace on the mission field that can only come from God, even when things can be literally life and death decisions.

I want to spread the Gospel because Jesus has given me hope that can be found nowhere else and I want others to have that too. I love helping others go on mission and finding the same Joy I found when I first felt called to go.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39

Hello everyone I’m Serenity! I went on my first missions trip to Haiti in March of 2021. I quickly fell in love with the country and its people, so I went back that June & March of 2022. After going on those trips I felt called to do an internship. I lived there for two months and really got a better understanding of full time missions and what it truly looks like to solely rely on the Lord. My favorite thing about missions is getting to know the kids while showing them the love of Jesus.

I’m currently going to Missouri Western for early childhood education. I hope to be able to return to Haiti when I graduate.

I’m super excited for Kingdom Run Missions to be able to help support sending people on mission because I know the impact it had on my life and my walk with Christ!!

“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them.” 1 Timothy 4:12-13

  • Crystal and I were once teenagers who were deeply in love and connected spirituality early in our relationship. It turns out, we needed that strong spiritual connection for what was about to hit us. Crystal became pregnant when I was 19 and she was 18, barely out of high school! Neither of us could see how this was going to work, but God could. I began my studies in Psychology, while we were raising a child and Crystal began pre-med. Everything all at once! Many in our family thought this was NOT a well thought out plan…and for good reason. We were teens, we didn’t plan things, we did things!

Finally, with God’s obvious and miraculous intervention, I became a Psychologist with a specialty in Marriage and Family. Even more miraculous, we now have 5 kids…most of them by choice! I love working with people from diverse backgrounds. I have run a parenting ministry, Strong Families within our church in Platte City since 2015. I consider it a “local mission” to support parents and further their relationship with Christ. We are connected to Children’s Division and get referrals from them. Our primary aim is to offer a church home where they have a village in support of their family.

My first true mission trip was to Jamaica last December and I loved it. Although one thing David Platt (Secret Church) said is you have to identify whether you are a sender or a goer, and I’d say my primary calling, regarding overseas missions, is as a sender. What I love about KRM is that it aims to send and I want to do all I can to support its success in doing so. When Crystal and I were young we often dreamt of saving money so we could send others on mission and that dream played a part in getting us through those tough early years. We are ecstatic that God is answering this call He put on our hearts a loooong time ago!

“You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.”

    2 Samuel 22:29-30 NIV
